A highly experienced medical writer, Michelle has worked with many leading health brands, businesses, hospitals and publishers, including the British Medical Journal and Elsevier.
She has written for several high-profile award-winning projects – including, most recently, the St Vincent’s Hospital Heart Health website, which won the Chairman’s Award for Innovation and Excellence, recognising the suite of web-based technologies to pioneer the way cardiac care and education are delivered.
Michelle established Purely Content in 2012 and has since served more than 100 healthcare brands and businesses in Australia and overseas. She has written articles, blogs, newsletters, patient handouts, website content, eBooks, marketing content, app content and more.
Michelle is the President of the Australasian Medical Writers Association, an elected position she has held since August 2015. Prior, she was an Executive Committee Member for five years. She is passionate about facilitating a thriving local medical writing community.
Michelle is also the founder of Health Writer Hub, an online education portal for health professionals and aspiring writers looking to improve their health and medical writing skills. Her bespoke writing courses and resources have helped thousands of writers from around the world to enhance their abilities and develop their writing careers.
Michelle often contributes to the European Medical Writers Association Journal Medical Writing and conducts medical writing training workshops for healthcare brands and businesses. She lives in Sydney’s northern beaches with her young family.

Dinethra offers years of experience in translating complex medical information into user-friendly and effective communication. Her diverse portfolio includes working for big pharma, health agencies, private health and pharmaceutical companies and not-for-profit organisations.
Dinethra has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne and a postgraduate diploma in genetic counselling.
Working in the pharmaceutical and medical indemnity industries, she has written medical conference reports, pharmaceutical drug summaries, clinical protocols and medical education.
Her skills include copywriting, online blog health articles, writing medical education modules, sales eDetailers, content for apps, scientific features, news and profile articles, medical conference newsletters and reports, clinical guidelines and HCP fact sheets.
Dinethra lives in Sydney with her husband, two active young sons and a cat named Simba. She is a member of the Australasian Medical Writers Association and has completed Medicines Australia’s CEP.
