Founder & Director

Michelle is an industry-leading healthcare communicator and the President of the Australasian Medical Writers Association.

After recognising the industry’s growing demand for high-quality writers with specialty experience in the healthcare sector, Michelle founded Purely Content in 2012.

Over the years, Michelle has written for several high-profile award-winning projects – including the St Vincent’s Hospital Heart Health website, which won the Chairman’s Award for Innovation and Excellence, recognising the suite of web-based technologies to pioneer the way cardiac care and education are delivered.

Michelle is also the founder of Health Writer Hub, an online education portal for health writers with 5000+ subscribers. Health Writer Hub offers a range of digital health writing courses and resources.

Passionate about supporting a thriving health & medical writing community, Michelle is a regular contributor to the European Medical Writers Association Journal. She also conducts tailored health writing training and workshops for healthcare businesses. Michelle lives in Sydney’s northern beaches with her young family.

Dinethra offers years of experience in translating complex medical information into user-friendly and effective communication. Her diverse portfolio includes working for big pharma, health agencies, private health and pharmaceutical companies and not-for-profit organisations.

Dinethra has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne and a postgraduate diploma in genetic counselling.

Working in the pharmaceutical and medical indemnity industries, she has written medical conference reports, pharmaceutical drug summaries, clinical protocols and medical education.

Her skills include copywriting, online blog health articles, writing medical education modules, sales eDetailers, content for apps, scientific features, news and profile articles, medical conference newsletters and reports, clinical guidelines and HCP fact sheets.

Dinethra lives in Sydney with her husband, two active young sons and a cat named Simba. She is a member of the Australasian Medical Writers Association and has completed Medicines Australia’s CEP.
